1. Subject
The purpose of these general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) is to define the terms and conditions applicable to the private passenger transport services offered by GOO VTC via the website. Any reservation implies unreserved acceptance of these conditions by the customer.
2. Reservations
Bookings are made exclusively via the GOO VTC website. All requests for journeys must be confirmed by our team to be considered valid. A deposit may be required, particularly for long-distance journeys or long-term hire. In the absence of confirmation and any deposit, the booking may be cancelled without notice.
3. Rates
Fares are quoted in euros, inclusive of all taxes. They are calculated on the basis of several criteria: distance, type of vehicle, time of day/night and any supplements. The price is communicated to the customer before final validation. GOO VTC reserves the right to change its prices at any time, without affecting services already booked.
4. Cancellation policy
Customers may cancel their booking free of charge up to two hours before the scheduled pick-up time. Any cancellation made less than two hours before the scheduled pick-up time will incur a charge of 50 % of the price of the journey. If the driver has already arrived on site, the full price of the service will be due. No refund will be made in this case.
5. Behaviour and safety
Seatbelts must be worn by all passengers. The customer undertakes to behave respectfully towards the driver and not to cause any damage. Any voluntary or involuntary damage to the vehicle will be billed to the customer. The driver reserves the right to refuse a passenger whose behaviour endangers the safety of the journey.
6. Supplements
Additional charges may be applied for the following services: transport of bulky luggage, night journeys, long waits, unscheduled detours or specific requests outside the initially agreed journey. These charges will be communicated to the customer before the service is provided.
7. Personal data
GOO VTC undertakes to respect the confidentiality of personal data collected via the website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The information collected is used solely for booking purposes and is never passed on to third parties. Customers have the right to access, rectify and delete their data by sending a request by email to : contact@goo-vtc.fr.
8. Liability
GOO VTC cannot be held responsible for delays due to events beyond its control (traffic, weather conditions, strikes, unforeseen events, etc.). In the event of force majeure or the impossibility of providing the service, GOO VTC's liability is limited to the reimbursement of any sums received.
9. Applicable law and disputes
These GTC are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, the competent courts will be those of the registered office of GOO VTC, unless otherwise provided by law.
